The Beaver

The robust and stocky Eurasian beaver Castor fiber, gnaws down willow and aspen trees to create a lodge for its small family. A unique large rodent, with a flat paddle-like tail and webbed feet, the beaver is a masterful engineer of its freshwater habitat.
